I have been raising alpacas since 1996, so it certainly seemed
appropriate to develop an insurance package for alpaca & llama
farms. Most insurance companies have little or no understanding of
these animals. As a result, they will sometimes decline to provide
coverage or they will charge a higher rate. Because of my knowledge
with the industry, I am able to educate company underwriters so they can
better understand the risk.
At this time we are only offering coverage for farms in Pennsylvania. Although we have plans for expanding to neighboring states in the future. We realize obtaining mortality coverage for the animals is one of the largest concerns for breeders. Our agency can offer this coverage but our primary focus is to provide a complete insurance package for all your needs. |
